SD Adventures of Sonic Adventure: pt 1

Ryan: Before I begin again, I'll be making some changes in the story. Mainly by making connections to the game and some episodes in Sonic X, and doing the different plots in chronological order.  And the voice acting to be imagine. The voice cast choice? Sonic - Jason Griffith, Tails - Any of the 3-4 voices from 2003 - present, Knuckles - Michael McGaharn, Amy Rose - Lisa Ortiz, Big the Cat - I don't care, Eggman - Mike Pollock

(Prologue)

One stormy night there was an island in the sky above in the heavens, and there was the Egg Carrier flying towards it. On the floating island lies a red echidna guardian named Knuckles. He’s the last creature of its race as he’s destined to protect the Master Emerald. However, the Egg Carrier approaches as he sleeps as something causes the Master Emerald to break into pieces. Knuckles awakens only to see the shattered emerald and a liquid creature called Chaos and a light (which is Tikal, Knuckles’ ancestor).

Knuckles: “What the…” He quickly jumps the gun as he then thinks Chaos was the one who destroyed the Master Emerald; “What’s going on here? Oh no! Something’s happened to the Master Emerald! Huh, who are you? Did you do this? Ohhh I’ll get you for this!”

Knuckles then double punch and literal fist launch attack Chaos, but he misses as Chaos leaps in the air. It then knocks Knuckles over the stairs on the shrine as he quickly got on his feet.

Knuckles: “Hey, no fair!” Before Knuckles got back near Chaos, it quickly deforms into a puddle and disappears; “Wait! What’s happening to you? Come back here!” He then starts getting curious of Chaos; “Wow! That was incredible! I’ve never seen anything like it.” However, he then feels the island shaking; “Oh no! It’s starting to happen. Without the Master Emerald’s power, this whole island will fall into the ocean!”

He was right as Angel Island starts to fall from the heavens. As it then crashes down to the ocean and solid land, it makes tidal waves.

 

In the jungles of the Mystic Ruins, we come across Big the Cat and Froggy (one of the most despise characters of the series). Angel Island crashes as it awakens Froggy, as he then jumps out of the outdoor house. Froggy then sees a part of Chaos as it goes for Froggy, forcing the frog to drink it down. Big the Cat then wakes up from the noise of the crash (as he’s a heavy sleeper).

Big: “Huh? …Er… What? Froggy, is that you? You’re lookin’ kinda weird, good buddy.” As he says that, we’re shown that Froggy somehow grew a tail, thanks to a piece of liquid from Chaos; “What’s up with the tail?” Froggy goes for the yellow Chaos Emerald Big managed to found and swallows it; “Hey, wait a minute! You swallowed my lucky charm.” Froggy then runs off (in this case, hop off); “Come back here… What’s wrong with you? Something’s not right. We’ve always been friends for years.” Froggy continues to run off; “Froggy! Wait up! Oh dear!”

Big then processed to chase down Froggy.

 

Somewhere in Station Square, we see the beauty colorful lights in the city, as we see Sonic running and jumping off of building, until reaching the rooftop of one building near the train station.

Sonic: “Ah yeah! This is happening!” He then notices a lot of police activate as it got his attention heading into the city and jumps to the ground; “What’s going on with the police?”

Sonic then follows the law enforcements as they head for one of the 2 entrances for the Speed Highway. When reaching the 2^nd entrance to the highway, it was Chaos.

Police man; “You are completely surrounded! Surrender yourself!” Chaos then jumps in the middle of the courtyard; “Lock on target men! Ready… Fire!” The police men open fire on Chaos, but their weapons were useless and had no effect; “Oh no! Our weapons are useless! Retreat! All personnel, fall back!”

With the police in retreat behind their cars or something, Sonic shows up to handle the scene of the crime.

Sonic: “Ah yeah! This could be fun!”

So Sonic leaps and home attacks Chaos (Chaos 0 in this case) as it then deforms. Moving near Sonic and the police cars, Chaos then spin attacks it’s arms, and stretch punches. Sonic jumps and dodges Chaos’s attacks and home attack it again, deforming it to liquid. Moving back in the center and reforming, Chaos then jumps pole to pole stretch punching Sonic. However, Sonic dodges its attacks by running. When Chaos comes falling down, Sonic jumps and home attacks it again making it deformed. With Chaos having no luck, it then heads for a sewer drain.

Sonic: “Come on, you big drip! Where ya going?”

Just as Sonic looks down the sewer drain, we then see someone on top of the building.

Eggman: “You know nothing, fool! It’s Chaos! The God of Destruction. (evil laugh).”

 

(Several hours later)

(Song: Option Screen, Sonic Colors)

 

We then come back to the Spirit Guardians at the Universe Gateway. With the group down a member with Draco leaving for reasons unknown, the Spirit Guardians must carry on without him. Their next place to go is Station Square, which the portal image shows a blur in it as if someone is very fast.

Jane: “Hey guys. Look at the portal. It’s a bit blurry.”

Wrenchy: “Yeah, as if someone really fast lives there.”

Ren: “Well, where ever that place is, let’s hope the situation is not as insane like the Death Star or Halo.”

Wrenchy: “Yeah, big time.”

Ryan: “Ok, I think we’re all ready to go. Now that we got some more upgrades. I really like the upgrade on my shades, giving some tech abilities like scanning and locking on targets.”

Scarlett: “What do you think we’ll found on this quest this time?”

Coyote: “Who knows, Little Red. We gotta find out.”

Jayden: “Here we go again.”

So the heroes enter the portal to Station Square.

 

The next day in Station Square, we see Tails flying he’s prototype biplane.

Tails: “Everything’s working great. All systems go… Full speed ahead!” However, somethings wrong with the biplane prototype; “Oh no. What is this?” The plane seems to be malfunctioning or something; “Nooooooo… Ahhhhhh… I’m out of control! Mayday! Mayday!”

At the hotel’s pool, we see Sonic catching some rays from the sun. All the sudden a light blink as the Spirit Guardians arrived… Or some at least.

Taiyo: “Oh no, what happened to some of the others?”

Coyote: “We must have been separated upon entering the portal.”

Tsuki: “But why are separated from the others?”

Sonic awakens from his nap and sees Ryan, Rick, Taiyo, Coyote, Tsuki and Ravie.

Sonic: “Huh. This is new. It’s not usual to find creatures like you here.”

Everyone: “Huh?”

Sonic: “Where did you all come from? And who are you anyway?”

Ryan: “My name’s Ryan, and these are Coyote, Rick, Taiyo, Tsuki, and Ravie. And we’re the Spirit Guardians.”

Sonic: “The Spirit Guardians, huh? What kind of hero group name is that?”

Tsuki: “It’s really a long story, Mr. Hedgehog.” Ravie (pika)

Sonic: “Mr.? Oh right. I’m Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog.” After some bit of introduction, Sonic then sees Tails flying a biplane; “Huh?”

Taiyo: “What is it, Sonic?”

Sonic: “It’s the biplane. Look behind you.”

Coyote: “Yikes that plane is not in good shape.”

Rick: “Who’s in that plane?”

Sonic: “My best friend, Tails.”

They all see the plane heading down to Emerald Coast.

Sonic: “Oh no, he’s gonna crash.” The plane then makes a loud bang; “Tails… What am I gonna do with you.”

Sonic then jumps over the pool and starts heading for the beach, as the others catches up.

Ryan: “Wait up! We’re coming with you!” Ryan summons his sword as he sees Sonic running really fast; “Wow, now I guess why he’s named Sonic. Hang on, I’ll use my blade to use blue eco on all of us.”

Ryan then uses his magic on the 6 others including himself to catch up with Sonic.

So the 7 heroes enter the beach of Emerald Coast as Sonic leads the way.

Sonic: “Just try to keep up.”

So Sonic starts running and home attacks a robot, and frees an animal and heads for the other one close to the dock. As the 7 Spirit Guardians catch up to Sonic, Coyote shoots the robot on top of a tree near the hotel. Sonic, Ryan, and the others, take down another robot and one by one hit the springs as they go bouncing to the other docks as dolphins jump out. They then run around the dock leading to a rock, run around the loop via dash board, and jump high to land on a piece of beach island. Upon landing, everyone ran across the other side of the mini island going uphill and hitting another dash board, as it sends them flying to a big rock. When reaching the rock, they run on through a hole and move on their right going uphill, they jump and land at the ground near the path way up. Seeing a spike trap in the way, Sonic makes a moves as it then goes down and back up. The Spirit Guardians then take the chance with the spikes back up as follow Sonic down a path to a 3 looped rock. Sonic waits for them at a dock as they then run and sent flying to him from the dash board.

Sonic: “What’s with you guys? You’re glowing or something.”

Coyote: “That’s Ryan’s magic from a world we visited. It helps us increase our speed.”

Sonic: “Cool. Anyway, let’s keep going.”

So everyone then runs after Sonic as he runs across the path of docks. However, the whale starts hopping right and left, causing the dock to it under water. Upon reaching the next set of docks, everyone is being chased by the whale as it hits the docks around the rocks. With the help of the dash boards, they managed to reach another piece of island and out run the whale.

Taiyo: “Whoa. What just happened back there? I know there was a whale and all…”

Rick: “I’m pretty sure it’s looking for food, despite we’re land creatures and all.”

Ryan: “Let’s go, there’s a way up to the bridge on top of the light house.”

Everyone avoids the spike trap and go to a hill in front of them, where a springs lead up to another piece of rock. So one by one they bounce and bounce and bounce until reaching the top of the rock and the bridge to the light house. They then run to the middle around of the light house and into a cave hole, as it leads into a cave area of the island. Sonic Ryan and the group go right left as Sonic then sees speed shoes and goes for it.

Sonic: “Hey guys, watch this.”

Sonic runs to a capsule on the top of the wall as it then gives him speedy shoes for a few seconds and runs for the top hole.

Tsuki: “Oh my goodness. He’s going extra fast now.” Ravie (pika)

Ryan: “We’ll have to ask him about that thing later.”

So Sonic runs ahead as the Spirit Guardians try running on the side of the rock wall and they managed to make it on the top hall without falling. Through the cave, they come across a spring as it leads them to more springs and across a pond and through another hole. They see Sonic at the loop part of the rock as they then go downhill and again side way across the rock wall to the loop and dash boards. Then they hit the dash boards, run a loop 3 times, hit another dash board and hit a launch board to another island as Sonic waits for them.

Tsuki: “What did you use back there, Sonic?”

Sonic: “Speedy shoes. It’s some type of energy effect if you want to go really fast. But since I’m working my way up to impossible speed numbers, I figure why not use my gift to use. Come on, Tails needs us.”

So everyone then hit another set of dash boards as they go running up a rock and land on top of it. They then see a robot as Coyote shoots it and frees a creature from inside, and then they jump through the hole, go around and jump to higher ground through a cave and another high ground on their right. Seeing that the rock goes down, the group run down the rock and hit the dash board and springs to land on the rock above the hole below. Sonic then notices the jump panels as he jumps to another panel to other parts of rock and land at the top. After one by one handle the jump panels, they all follow Sonic again through 2 spike traps, down a narrow path, through a loop, going left to right, til finally the launch board through a rock with a hole in the middle. They all made it through as they then head straight for Tails and the crashed biplane. Upon reaching Tails, who just woke up from the crash as he sees Sonic’s hand reaching out for him and the 7 Spirit Guardians behind him.

Tails: “I’m glad you’re here, Sonic. But who are those guys behind you?”

Sonic: “New friends of mine.” Turns back to them after helping Tails up; “Not bad, you managed to keep up with me.”

Taiyo: “Thanks.”

Rick: “We’ll take that as a compliment.”

With Tails safe and sound, everyone made their way back to the hotel.

Everyone has made it back to the pool of the hotel as they question Tails why he was flying.

Sonic: “What happened anyway? You’re too good of a pilot to just crash like that.”

Tails: “That was a test run using a new prototype propulsion system. It’s got a few bugs to iron out.”

Sonic: “Why not just use my plane, the Tornado.”

Tails: “Thanks.”

Tsuki: “You own a plane too?” Ravie (pika)

Sonic: “You bet I do. I usually let Tails fly it when he wants to.”

Tails: “Hey Sonic. You gotta check out my newest power supply. Ta dahh!”

Tails pulls out a purple Chaos Emerald.

Sonic: “WHOA! A Chaos Emerald!”

Ryan: “You know what that gem it? It looks like an ordinary gem to me.”

Rick: “I would have to agree, but why is it called that Tails and how you found it?”
Tails: “I just happened to find 1 of the 7 Emerald during one of my test flights.”

Coyote: “Consider yourself lucky, foxy kid.”

Tails: “Thanks. Anyway, the reason why it’s called a Chaos Emerald is because the thing’s got unlimited power. So I figured, why not use it to power my plane, super charged!”

Taiyo: “Sounds a bit like Ravie with his electric powers.” Ravie (pika pika)

Tails: “You gotta come over to my workshop, guys! I’ve got something to show you all! It’s in the Mystic Ruins. The fastest way is by train. Let’s go!”

Sonic: “Lead the way, buddy.”

 

(Song: Welcome to Station Square, Sonic Adventure)

 

So everyone enters inside the hotel to exit the entrance. At the entrance of the hotel, there was the train station on their left and the entrance to Twinkle Park straight across.

Tails: “Oh I almost forgot, I need to find one of my gadgets that I lost before we head off to my lab.”

Ryan: “Ok, where’s this gadget of your?”

Tails: “According to my gadget radar, my gadget is near Twinkle Park above the sewer… Eww…”

So they head near the sewer next to Twinkle Park as Tails then flies above the water, into the sewers. Seeing a hole above, Tails flies in there and gets his Jet Anklet (it makes Tails fly really fast). Once Tails gets this Jet Anklet, he flies back outside to the others.

Taiyo: “Is that your gadget, Tails?”

Tails: “Yeah, it’s my Jet Anklet. It allows me to fly faster.”

Coyote: “Cool. We might need some of those, if we get jet pack in the future.”

Tails: “To the station.”

They then head on over to the train station, as the radio goes off.

Voice: “The train heading for the Mystic Ruins will be departing soon.”
Sonic: “Let’s go. We don’t wanna miss the trains.”

So everyone then heads up the stairs and into one of the train carts as it then closes the doors and drives off. Back down below, we see Scarlett, Camila, and Scarlett coming out from the hall that leads to the Casino area.

Jane: “I can’t believe we got separated from everyone else.”

Camila: “Me too, but at least we still got each other.”

Scarlett: “That’s right. Let’s continue on with our search.”

 

(Song: My Sweet Passion instrumental, Sonic Adventure)

 

Just as Jane, Camila, and Scarlett continue their search for everyone else, they come across a pink hedgehog.

Amy: “Excuse me. Have you seen a blue hedgehog around here?”

Jane: “A blue hedgehog?”

Camila: “Are you talking to us?”

Amy: “Of course I am. I’m Amy Rose, and I’m looking for my lover Sonic.”

Scarlett: “That is so cute.”

Amy: “Thank you.”

Jane: “Sorry, we don’t know any blue hedgehog. But we could use some help around the city.”

Amy: “Really? How come?”

Camila: “We got separated from our teammates, and now we’re looking for them.”

Amy: “I help you out around here at Station Square.”

Camila: “Great, can you show us around.”

Amy agrees to help Jane, Camila, and Scarlett find their teammates and starts showing them around the city.

On the fallen Angel Island, Knuckles has awakened from his nap as he then starts thinking on where to search the shattered pieces. Nearby the former shrine, Dandin and Ren find themselves walking across the bridge to a piece of Angel Island.

Dandin: “What happened when we teleported?”

Ren: “As far as I know, I can guess that either; A, the portal was malfunctioning. Or B, we each got separated for a reason.”

Dandin: “I assume your other guess, B.”

Ren: “How come?”

Dandin: “Look. A red creature is heading toward us.”

As Knuckles heads down to the train station of Mystic Ruin, as he sees the 2.

Knuckles: “Huh, who are you 2? And what are you doing on my island?”

Dandin: “Your island?”

Knuckles: “Yes, my floating island. Or at least it was.”

Ren: “My name is Ren. This is Dandin. We’re looking to see if anyone need help, and that we need to regroup with our teammates.”

Knuckles: “I see. I could use some help finding something important.”

Dandin: “What is it?”

Knuckles: “Shattered piece of the Master Emerald. A bunch of pieces somehow broke apart and flew off everywhere.”

Ren: “We can help you with that.”

Knuckles: “Are you sure?”

Dandin: “Positive. Plus, I also am a treasure hunter myself. And I figure since we’re looking for gem pieces, I figured we help.”

Knuckles: “Hey, same here. Dandin is it?”

Dandin: “Yep.”

Ren: “Well, perhaps we can help each other. If we help you find the missing pieces, will you help us find our friends?”

Knuckles: “Sure.”

So the group heads down to Station Square.

Down at the mine cart near the train tracks a few years away, Big gets out and chases Froggy, that is until he then hears a voice that’s familiar to him.

Jayden: “What happened to us getting separated?”

Wrenchy: “I don’t know. Maybe we got separated when walking in the teleporter at the same time.”

Jayden: “Or that we might have been separated for a reason.”

Wrenchy: “Yeah, well I’m going with my teleporter theory.”

Big: “Jayden? Is that you?”

Jayden: “Hey Big. It’s good to see you again. What are you doing here, and where’s your friend Froggy?”

Big: “That’s the thing, my buddy just ran away. He ran away, and I must find him, because somethings wrong with him.”

Jayden: “You were saying, Wrenchy? We can help you out, since we can’t find our other teammates for the moment.”

Big: “Really? Ah thanks, Jayden. You’re a great friend.”

Wrenchy: “I think I see it. Is it the one with a weird tail.”
Big: “Yes, that’s him. Wait up, Froggy! I’m coming!”

Jayden: “Hey, Big! Wait up!”

So Jayden, Wrenchy, and Big chase Froggy up to the train station of Mystic Ruins. As Froggy gets on one of the train carts, the other 4 managed to get in the train just in time as it heads off to Station Square.

 

Later on, the train with Sonic and Tails’ and their groups with them, they arrive to the Mystic Ruins as they walk down below off the outdoor train station. Once down below, Tails leads the way to his workshop, right under the train bridge, and up the hill with the stair steps that near the ocean on their right. Upon reaching the half way point of Tails’ workshop a voice appeared.

Eggman: “Ha ha ha ha! If it isn’t Sonic!”

 

(Song: Eggman’s theme, Sonic Adventure)

Rick: “What is that?”

Sonic: “Look! It’s a giant talking egg!”

Eggman: “Silence! I am Dr. Robotnik. The greatest scientific genius in the world!”

Sonic: “Whatever you say, Eggman!”

Eggman: “Enough!”

Ryan: “Is this guy your nemesis?”

Sonic: “You bet.”

Eggman: “I’ve got big plans, and now I’m going to put them to work!”

Tails: “You’re always up to no good. Now what do ya want?”

Eggman: “I want all of the Chaos Emeralds. You better not interfer! Or else!”

Coyote: “Or else, what? You big fat man!”

Eggman: “Or else I’ll take them from you by force... The hard way!”

He flies his mobile down the cliff, and back up with an attachable vehicle, the Egg Hornet.

 

(Song: Egg Mobile, Sonic Adventure)

Eggman makes a move and flies around, trying to throw everyone off. Then he flies some missles at them. However, they all moved as the missles were coming towards them. With the missles blown up from where Eggman shot them, he flies around and then pulls out 2 drills. He then comes crashing down at Sonic, but he back flips and dodges. Taiyo uses his hammer to smash a side of the engine, Tsuki throws his spear in another engine and pulls it at, and Sonic head butts Eggman. With a hit on Eggman, he decides to fly around again. He again shoots the missles at the heroes, but misses as they moved, and goes around and does the drill attack again on Sonic. Eggman misses and now is stuck. Ryan cuts throw a part of the engine where Taiyo hammered, Rick scratches his claws into the hole that Tsuki made, and Tails uses his twin tails to whip Eggman. He gets his mobile out of the ground and does the same thing again. Shoot the misses, misses, uses the drills, crashes into the ground, and Coyote runs around and shoots the holes in the 2 side engines and Sonic head butts Eggman. With the damage on the Egg Hornet, it was then about to blow up as Eggman’s mobile crashes on the ground.

 

Eggman was in defeat, and the heroes won. Or so they thought.

Sonic: “Well, that wasn’t so hard!”

Coyote: “Easily shattered like an egg.”

Ryan: “All right. I think we get the joke, Coyote.”

Coyote: “What? Can’t I help it, I had eggs for breakfast today.”

As Tails has the purple Chaos Emerald out, Eggman takes a peak and has a grin look.

Eggman: “AHA!”

 

(Song: Eggman’s theme, Sonic Adventure)

 

So out of nowhere, Eggman uses a robotic claw and snatches the Chaos Emerald from Tails.

Sonic and Tails: “Oh no!”

As the claw comes back to Eggman, he grabs the emerald.

Eggman: “Come on, Chaos, time to eat!”

Ryan and Sonic: “Chaos?”

Chaos comes out of nowhere and forms into its human like form.

Sonic: “Oh no, isn’t that the same monster I saw the other day?”

Tsuki: “You thought this thing before?” Ravie (pika)

Sonic: “Sure did.”

Eggman throws the Chaos Emerald into Chaos as it then transforms. It’s a bit big but with robotic parts on its right arm. This surprises everyone.

Eggman: “Ooooh yes! It’s just as the stone tablets predicted. Ha ha ha ha ha! His strength increases everytime I feed him a Chaos Emerald! With all 7 emeralds in him, he’ll be invincible! And work for me! Together, we’ll destroy Station Square! And on its ruins, I’ll build Robotnikland, the Ultimate city! Where I will rule it all! Come on, Chaos! Let’s find another emerald, shall we?”

So Eggman uses a flash bang as he and Chaos both disappear into thin air.

Tails: “Sonic, we can’t let him get away with this. Can we?”

Sonic: “No way, Tails!”

Tails: “Without the other 6 emeralds, the monster can’t transform, so it’s up to us to get the Chaos Emeralds before Eggman does, huh?”

Ryan: “At least you got us to help you out on your emerald hunt.”

Sonic: “You’re right, Ryan.”

Taiyo: “Where do we start first?”

Tails: “According to my Chaos Emerald radar, there’s one coming through the caves into Windy Valley. Luckily, I found a gate key to allow us to enter there.”

Rick: “What we waiting for? Let’s go!”

 

So Sonic, Tails, and their group must find the 6 other emeralds before Eggman can. Can they find all the emeralds and prevent Chaos’s perfection for Eggman’s use. Can the other group members find their teammates and learn the truth of the combine event?
